Valley of the Ghosts Music Festival - postponed until July 2021
The 1st Valley of the Ghosts Music Festival (VoftheG) was on July 14, 2018 in beautiful, historic Sandon, BC in the heart of the Kootenays. Due to the success of the 1st Ghost Fest we decided to make this an annual Kootenay event in mid-July.
This is a family (and pet) friendly event!!!
The VoftheG features only local Kootenay talent as there are so many amazing musicians throughout the Kootenay's including local food vendors and specialized brewed beer from Angry Hen Brewing in Kaslo, BC.
Sandon, BC is the perfect venue to host a music festival due to the layout of the land - the acoustics are amazing. Sandon is nestled in a mountainous valley with a flowing creek running through it and thousands of fir, hemlock, poplar and cedar trees. Lots of green space for camping. Access to numerous mountain biking, hiking, ATVing roads/trails and a 12 km forest road to the famous Idaho Peak lookout (which BTW road usually opens 2nd weekend of July).
Tickets for #ghostfest2021 will go on sale February 1, 2021 please visit the VoftheG Ticket page.
