camping in Sandon

Sandon has a number of ​ tent and RV sites. Come stay the weekend or the week and explore the mountains and all the area has to offer from hiking, mountain biking, atving, off road exploring - let your imagination run wild!

There are numerous local trails in the nearby area.  For trail information visit the Prospectors Pick store in Sandon or any local Visitor Centre in the nearby villages.


Amenities
Electricity, untreated mountain spring water, fire pits, fire wood, picnic tables and public outhouse(s) & electric car charging station (must have adapter)

Prices - 3 nights 10% discount
Tent/RV site, no electric hookup - $15.00/night
Tent/RV site, with electric hookup - $20.00/night
Rent a Tent - $25 per night (rent a cot w/mattress, includes sheets & pillow *no top blanket* $35 per night) *** w/electrical hookup additional $5.

GROUP RATES - groups of 3 or more 10% discount

MUST RESERVE - we are getting busy with people wanting to camp and we LOVE it!!!  You can reserve via email or phone

IMPORTANT MUST READ
1.  Pets are welcome (MUST be on a leash at all times, must clean up poop, absolutely no peeing on the various artifacts & buildings in and around Sandon and ABSOLUTELY NO excessive barking) - should pet owners not abide they will be given a polite reminder of the rules and if it continues will be asked to leave immediately and will not be refunded.

2.  Campers are responsible for:
a)  cleaning up their site (no trace camping)
b)  taking their garbage with them (ABSOLUTELY NO burning of garbage with the exception of paper)
c)  returnable bottles/cans can be left at the Prospector's Pick (aka 1900 City Hall)
