Whether you have an hour, a day or a week, we can always use your help! No experience needed, all ages welcome! Contact us to find out about upcoming projects.

Donate

All donations, big or small, help us keep Sandon alive for everyone to enjoy. Donations are a vital means of support, as there is no government funding in Sandon. If you like what we're doing and would like to see it continue, please consider leaving a donation.

Your donations go to the continued maintenance & restoration of the historic buildings and artifacts as well as up keep of the grounds. 
WORK BEES

3 DAY WORK PARTIES

Three to four times per season (July / August / September we host 3 day work bees where individuals come camp & work ($$) - landscaping, painting, rock picking, fire wood cutting (general labour work)

PERKS:
  • Camp for free (must provide your own accommodations however a tent is available for a fee)
  • Free lunch (Vida the host is an amazing cook with a focus on local organic and can accommodate most dietary restrictions - dairy free, gluten free, raw, vegan, vegetarian)
  • Free ice cream at the end of the day
  • Unlimited coffee & tea
  • Natural "untreated" mountain spring water
  • Laundry availability
  • Make new long lasting friendships - we strive to make Sandon a safe space for everyone (no hate or discrimination or bullying - we will not tolerate it)
  • $120 per day for an 8 hour work day (non paid lunch break) MUST work an entire 8 hour day usually 9 - 5:30 with a 1/2 hour lunch break or 9 - 6 with an hour lunch break NO EXCEPTIONS!!
  • Saturday evening campfire stories and a potluck dinner.
  • Sunday mornings at 8 am we will go on a 2 hour hike and explore this beautiful area and its amazing history.

MUST BE A HARD WORKER, RELIABLE AND SOBER!!!

Limit 4 individuals per work bee weekend.
